Illinois Seismic Safety Taskforce

The Illinois Seismic Safety Task Force, which was first convened in August 2008, will meet next Thursday, February 18, 2010, to finalize its recommendations regarding earthquake preparedness resources and strategies in Illinois. Once finalized, the Task Force’s report will be presented to Governor Quinn, the General Assembly, and other State policymakers. The report will also be available on the Department’s website.

All interested parties are invited to attend the final meeting of the Task Force.  The meeting will be held:
