Potential Policyholder Names on Internet
To assist potential claimants, the International Commission on Holocaust Era Insurance
Claims has begun posting a list of possible insurance policyholders on its website
at
http://www.ICHEIC.org. ICHEIC has compiled
the list from several sources, including public archives and insurance company
records, and will update the information as new names become available. If you
are a Holocaust survivor or heir, the Illinois Department of Insurancerecommends
that you check this list periodically. If your name appears on the list, you might
be entitled to insurance benefits once an investigation determines the status
of the policy. Regardless of whether your name is on the list, if you believe
you have an unpaid insurance claim, you may still file a claim with ICHEIC.
